Dr. Becca Nicholson

Dr. Becca Nicholson is a licensed naturopathic doctor and founder of Nourish Health Center. She is trained to look beyond your list of symptoms and see you as a whole person, helping uncover and overcome the barriers to health and wellness. She spends the time it takes to listen to your whole story and discover the underlying cause of your health issues.

Dr. Becca specializes in complex chronic illnesses, including mold illness, PANS/PANDAS, chronic fatigue syndrome, autoimmune conditions, chronic infections, mental health, and digestive issues. She enjoys working with both adults and kids. Her approach is thorough, as she pieces together your unique story to uncover the underlying causes of your illness.

Dr. Becca is particularly interested in how stress is correlated to illness and disease. When the nervous system is stuck in survival mode from ongoing or past stress and trauma, optimal function of the body breaks down and symptoms develop. Dr. Becca believes that in order to heal physically, with the help of natural therapies, one must also look towards nervous system regulation and healing of past trauma.

In 2015, Dr. Becca graduated from National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR, where she then practiced for 2 years as a primary care physician at Sellwood Family Medicine. She then returned to her home state of Indiana, excited to offer much-needed functional and holistic medicine to her fellow Hoosiers.

About Me

Outside of the clinic, I love being in nature, and spending time with my family and community. I especially enjoy live music, where you're likely to find me dancing or hula hooping. Nature, music, and movement all help me access and connect with natural rhythms. I passionately believe that a return to health and our true nature involves a connection to the natural rhythms that surround us.
